Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson was an American actor best famous for playing Buffy Summers, in the cult movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Some other notable roles include Rebecca Becky Granger from the telefilm Nightingales and the very short-lived NBC program of the exact same name. Erica Paget played Early Edition in CBS and Marlowe Viccellio starred in Psych. Being a native of California Swanson had a passion for acting since she was young. She started working in the industry of advertising and appeared in numerous commercials. The first time she appeared on screen in 1984 during NBCs It's Your Move episode. Following that, in 1986's romantic comedy Pretty in Pink, Swan made her debut on the bigscreen. Swan, who is renowned for her stunning voice and a blonde hairlisp has been playing parts in a variety of roles over the last few years. Flowers in the Attic won her the Young Artist Award in the category of Best Young Actress in Horror or Mystery Motion Picture in 1989.
