April Lockhart
April Lockhart (born July 4 April, 1995) began her musical journey as a 7th grader in which she began guitar and piano classes. At the age of 12, she composed her first single, Different. In her 14th year April spent a lot of her day singing and writing songs. Then, in the following months, April began to go on trips with her dad and write in NY or LA. April started to include other subjects in her book Take My Hand to help her friends who were dealing in the face of peer pressure, disability or even suicide. Lockhart works in partnerships at famous cosmetics brand Ilia and also is an influencer in the lifestyle industry with a huge following of her own. She was not born having a left-handed hand, which is why she's the person she is. But that's far from all the facts. The profile of Lockhart on Instagram does not conceal her handicap, but it doesn't just focus on the issue. It's a reminder. We all have multiple aspects of identities and we're more than our physical selves. Lockhart in a video messages from his Nashville at home, claims that I don't wish for this to define myself. I'm much greater than the physical person I am. It doesn't impact my day-to-day life I do things normally, and I've discovered my own way to adjust the things. However, it's a component of me, so I believe that it's crucial to speak about. Lockhart is a great example of how to stay going with self-acceptance. She admits that she has gone through phases of being uncomfortable with her body and feeling uncomfortable in certain clothes which showed her arms. She is able to wear anything she likes, and is proud to share photos of herself wearing these clothes. She says that self-love is a journey. It's not clear whether you'll get to the point of no return. However, that is typical for people that is prone to doubts. I think that having people with you who are aware of you and know your heart is really important because they'll be the people who will remind you what you worried about?
