Felicity Jones is an British actress most popular for playing the role of Jane Hawking in the critically acclaimed movie The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting at the age 12 and worked on numerous TV shows, plays as well as films. Jones started her career as an actor with the TV movie The Treasure Seekers. Then, in The Worst Witch (a television series) in which she played Ethel Hallow. The sequel Weirdsisters college was also filmed. She also played Young Ruth in her first movie Flashbacks of a Fool and after that, she was a star in a variety of films. For instance, in The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in particular, she became a household name for her role. It was, however, her performance in The Theory of Everything that brought her an Oscar for the very first time. Jones received high praise from both critics and audiences for portraying Hawking's former wife as she appeared in this Stephen Hawking biopic. The film was followed by Inferno an action film starring Tom Hanks. Jones was named British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her outstanding talent and contribution to the cinema.
